Introduction to genetic programming tutorial
John R. Koza · 2010
The tutorial will start with a description of the problem addressed by genetic programming, a description of the basic genetic programming algorithm, and examples of applications. The tutorial will also describe advanced topics, such as use of a developmental process within genetic programming; implementations of automatically defined functions (subroutines), memory, iterations, recursions; parallel processing; the connection between Moore's Law and the results produced by genetic programming; and a brief survey of over 80 examples of human-competitive results using genetic programming.
