Gufran Ahmad Ansari · SSRN Electronic Journal · 2010

India is a vast country which is rich in culture and diversity. We can see great variations in culture and religion within a state. Nearly two-thirds of the Indian population lives in rural areas. This group of population is largely poor and needs support for development in various areas such as education, agriculture and craft. The need of the hour is to work towards the growth and development of the country in the field of education. This paper proposes a model using Unified Modeling Language (UML) class diagram, activity diagram and sequence diagram for the Indian Educational System (IES). The author also discusses the challenges and gives suggestions for providing quality education to the rural community.
