An Analysis of Intra-Prediction of H.264 for Digital Watermarking

This paper is to analyze the properties of intraprediction of H.264, which has been the dominant data compression method for 2D videos. This anayses are focused on the robustness digital watermarking and mostly based on the experimental data. The results showed us that this heuristic procedure makes very hard to insert watermark data into the digital data because re-engineering of the prediction-andcompression processor changes so much data including the prediction modes that a conventiona watermarking method cannot be used.
