HYDSYS: A Hydrometric Data Processing and Archive System

PF Heweston, AC Falkland · Hydrology and Water Resources Symposium 1989: Comparisons in Austral Hydrology; Preprints of Papers · 1989

HYDSYS is an integrated software system for the acquisition, processing, editing, archiving and analysis of time-series and other data. It is particularly suited to hydrometric data which typically consists of both time-series data and supporting database information such as flow gaugings, rating tables, cross sections and station histories. Originally developed for the Hydrology and Water Resources Section of the then Department of Housing and Construction, HYDSYS has been installed on both micro and mainframe computers for many water resources organisations throughout Australia.
