Morphological Background Generation for Robust Video Tracking in Complex Environment

In this paper, we present a novel background generation method in complex environment. The proposed method utilizes spatio-temporal information to cope with illumination change and ghost effect in video sequence. It also utilizes morphological operations to generate a robust background. Experimental results show that the proposed method can provide ghost-free background, and stably track objects with illumination changes.
