Tangible heritage data are owned by museums or related institutions in nationwide and each institution collect and manage them in different manners. Besides, general tangible heritage data exist in the form of relational database and there are many cases the related ontologies do not exist. Therefore, the following two methods are needed for integrated search on scattered tangible heritage data; first, it is necessary to extract tangible heritage data stored in relational database and extract ontologies automatically. The second is the automatic matching between domain ontologies for searching on tangible heritage data and extracted local ontologies of each institution. This paper suggests a system for effective semantic searching by means of the matching between extracted local ontologies and domain ontology, and automatic ontology extraction from relational database.
