Netbook Software Options
James Floyd Kelly · Apress eBooks · 2009
N etbooks are still in their infancy; we’re still limited to relatively small capacities when it comes to hard drives, RAM, and processor speeds. These limits mean that those of us who use netbooks must be vigilant about the type and size of the applications we install and use. These days, it’s not uncommon to find popular applications with installation sizes of two gigabytes or more. And that’s just the hard drive requirements; some of these applications also put a large demand on the processor and memory. These keywords were added by machine and not by the authors. This process is experimental and the keywords may be updated as the learning algorithm improves.
