Separation of the evoked potentials using stochastic filtering theory

Mathematical models are constructed to select evoked potentials (EPs) from the electroencephalographic (EEG) data with allowance for the presence and absence of the EP, and the equations of stochastic filtering are synthesized. The estimations of EPs that result from filtering of a mixture of EEG signals and EPs are used for the separation of EPs (determination of magnitudes and shapes of signals). An algorithm for the separation of EP is proposed, and the simulation is performed to prove its efficiency.
