Association Rules Technique to Diagnosis Financial Performance for Ksa Stock Market Companies

Association Rules technique is a technique for discovering useful knowledge from large databases. A number of industries are currently using this technique. A common approach for knowledge discovery is to identify association rules, which reveal relationships among different critical success factors. In this paper, we use this approach to analyze a large database containing financial statement and market data. Our aim is to obtain association rules indicating relationships between financial performance parameters and market indices. Random data sampling was be used to obtain these association rules. After reviewing the basic concepts associated with Association Rules technique, we discuss our approach for identifying association rules and report on the rules generated.
