Chrome is a web browser developed by Google Inc. for the Internet as it stands today. Earlier web browsers were developed for older technologies of the Internet where you could not interact with a web site like you can today. Current Internet technologies allow for web pages that dynamically change based on the choices you make. Earlier in the life of the internet, web pages were unchanging only meant to display static pictures and text. Chrome was designed to allow users to experience the web as it should be.
