In this paper, we examine the scheme that the CR (Cognitive Radio) user can coexist with primary user without interfering to primary user using the concept of interference temperature. Hereupon, in this paper, we proposed the scheme in which the CR user can coexist with the primary user assumed to be 802.11b WLAN (Wireless Local Area Network) in the 2.4 ㎓ ISM (Industrial, Scientific and Medical) band without harming the primary user. In the receiver of CR and primary user, the bandwidth and transmit power are determined to guarantee the required SINR (Signal to Interference plus Noise Ratio) to satisfy QoS (Quality of Service) of both CR user and primary user. Based upon the systematic process introduced in this paper, the coexistence of CR user would be possible.
