Traffic model as a design tool for multimodal regional network

The project ORDERin'F 'explored the possibilities for a regional public transport network. At regional level there is indeed no public transport network in Flanders that can be a competitive alternative to the car. This investigation led to Regionet Leuven, for regional public transport in the Leuven region. For their thesis Laura Tavernier and Pascale Willems used Regionet Leuven as a base and they examined how a traffic model can contribute in making design decisions for a transport network.
