Trends of Supercomputer Resource Allocation

Supercomputing centers in the world have established and enforced various resource allocation policies for addressing grand challenges and efficiently using supercomputers. This study examines INCITE, ALCC, and PRAC programs of the US, GSC large-scale project support programs of Germany, CHRONOS of Switzerland, HPCI strategic programs of Japan, and challenging research programs of Korea's KISTI, enforced for resource allocation policies to address grand challenges.
