Stephen Sherbrook, Tolga Kaya · 2012

Physiology is the scientific study of an organism’s vital functions. The need to study the physiological activity of the human body is growing and is vital to the advancement of understanding how the human body handles the stress of various situations. Being able to study what external conditions the body is being subjected to at any moment is crucial to understanding why the human body behaves the way it does and could ultimately lead to the development of technologies to help manage the body under these conditions.
