(adecsai.ugres Abstract- Inthis paperwepropose atechnique toobtain aset ofcrisp representatives ofanimprecise region incolor images. Inourapproach, we start byobtaining a fuzzymodelofthe region byemploying afuzzyregion growing procedure. Theset ofcrisp representatives isobtained fromthatmodelastheset ofav-cuts corresponding tomaximalvariations ofhomogeneity. Several experiments andacomparison withbothcrisp andfuzzy techniques areprovided, showing thesuitability oftheproposal against otherapproaches.
