On Behavioural Interfaces and Contracts for Software Adaptation
Javier Cámara, Gwen Salaün, Ernesto Pimentel · 2009
Software Adaptation aims at composing in a non-intrusive wa y black-box components or services, even if they present som e mismatches in their interfaces. Adaptation is a complex iss ue especially when behavioural descriptions of services ar e taken into account in their interfaces. In this paper, we first present our abstract notations used to specify behavioural inte rfaces and adaptation contracts, and propose some solutions to sup port the specification of these contracts. Then, we overviewour techniques for the generation of centralized or distribute d adaptor protocols and code based on the aforementioned con tracts.
