A CMOS down-conversion foldedmixerforRF applications ispresented. Theproposed mixeriscomposed ofa transconductance stage, folded switching stages andimpedance matching circuits. Thistopology proves tobesuitable fortheuse inanRF front-end withlowvoltage, lownoise figure, andhigh conversion gain. Withaninput2.4GHzRF signal of-4OdBm driven bya2.3GHzLO signal ofOdBm,themixershowsgood performance inbothnoisefigure andconversion gain. The conversion gainandthenoisefigure are10.1dBand8.558dB, respectively. Theproposed mixerisdesigned withtsmc0.18plm 2P6MCMOS process. Thesize ofthemixeris1.38mmx1.38mm. Thepowerconsumption ofthemixeris12.5mWwhichpowered bya1Vsupply.
