Inmostexisting digital rights management scheme, rights aregranted percontent toaconsumer, andalltherightgranting information including consumeridentifier, content identifier, content decryption keyandusage rules aretightly related andstored inthelicense. However, theseschemescausetheproblems thatthelicense management willbecomecomplicated inproportion to increasing thenumberof contents or consumers, especially inlarge-scale content distribution scenarios. In thispaper,we proposea scalable Digital Rights Management framework whichdiffers fromprevious DRM systems interms ofpackaging mechanism, rightgranting methodandlicense structure, andcontent decryption keygeneration method. A comparison with other DRM schemes hasshownthat ourproposed scheme islowoverhead, scalable, andefficient forlarge-scale content distribution.
