Servo Control Using Digital Signal Processing

The classical method for testing and calibrating turrets is to use a servo control system similar to an operational environ- ment. Digital processing was used lo address the differences between the operational and test environments. This paper de- scribes some of the requirements, encountered problems and solutions found in testing and calibrating one particular airborne turret.
