Wireless Sensor Networks are expected to play an essential role in many applications. However, sensor nodes could be deployed in an unattended or even hostile environment where attackers can eavesdrop on and manipulate the transmission data. Moreover, traditional key establishment mechanisms are not desirable in that wireless sensor networks consist of sensor nodes which are constrained in their storage, power, and computation capabilities. A lot of key pre-distribution schemes for sensor networks have been proposed. This paper shows a more secure key pre-distribution scheme, which improves the resilience of the network.
