A novelQHA (Quadrifilar HelixAntenna) forS-DMB (Satellite Digital Multimedia Broadcasting) ispresented. The antennaproposed hereisbasedon thegeneral QHA and modified thefeeding structure tosimplify formanufacturing procedures. A prototype antenna isbuilt basedonthesimulation results andthebasic performances aremeasured. Thepresented antennaoperates inS-DMBband(2630-2655MHz) andcanbe adopted forvarious mobile applications.
