SCHEME IN SPREAD TRANSIENT RESPONSE OF TWO-LEVEL COARSE CODE ACQUISITION SPECTRUM RADIO
Savo Glisic, Miodrag Dj · 1989
A modified two-level coarse code acquisition scheme for spread spectrum radio is presented and analyzed. The first reason for the modification of the known schemes /1, 2/ was to simplify hardware realization and to make easier practical application of the scheme. As a sideproduct we describe a new method for serial FH signal acquisition where the average synchronization time is considerably reduced compared to the known serial algorithms. The second reason was to incorporate an active automatic threshold control (ATC) scheme in the receiver and to make the entire system more realistic. Theoretical performance analysis is concentrated on the problem of thresholds setting optimization.
