Biometrics Based Key Generation using Diffie Hellman Key Exchange for Enhanced Security Mechanism

R. Saravanan · 2014

Security has always been a major concern for authentication over networking. Cryptographic methods solve the problem of security by implementing various methods for key exchange. Shared key is the major constraint established by Diffie Hellman Algorithm for two parties without the prior knowledge of each other over insecure communication channel. This algorithm generates the shared key with the help of receiver's public key and sender's private key. This research paper deals with the usage of finger print as the private key for generating the shared key for enhanced security.
