A major issue to be addressed in the design, operation and applications of Bluetooth system is inter- ference. This paper presents the results of interferences study investigating the impact of electromagnetic interfer- ence (EMI) and co-channel interference on Bluetooth re- ceiver. Results are based on simulations by means of dif- ferent scenarios. Preliminary results show that the perfor- mance of Bluetooth will be degraded in presence of interfer- ences, being necessary to design a more robust Bluetooth receiver.
