In this paper the theory of non homogeneous Markov systems (NHMS) with fuzzy states is used for describing students’ educational in Greek Universities. More specically, a model for projecting students’ transitions among progress levels related to academic years is provided. The levels, assumed fuzzy, are dened and the relevant membership functions are given in terms of the degree of the dicultly of the course units. An application of the proposed model is given using
