A large proportion of the information utilized by craniofacial research investigators and clinicians is extracted from physical records such as X-ray images, plaster study casts and facial photographs. We have previously reported the development of an integrated system for data acquisition, storage and analysis of two and three dimensional data from these sources. We now report the development of a retrieval system which permits rapid interactive image display with graphic overlays in an inexpensive personal computer environment.
