Thispaper addresses theproblem ofjoint transmitter-receiver optimization inthedownlink Multiple Input Multiple Output (MIMO)DS-CDMAsystems overmultipath fading channels. Boththetransmitter andthereceivers areequipped withantennaarrays andtheprecoding/decoding matrices canbedesigned tominimize theoverall mean-squared-error (MSE)of thesystem subject topowerconstraint.
