The Subfig Package

This article documents the L A T E X package `subfig', which provides support for the inclusion of small, `sub', figures and tables. It simplifies the positioning, captioning and labeling of such objects within a single figure or table environment and to continue a figure or table across multiple pages. In addition, this package allows such subcaptions to be written to a List-ofFloats page as desired. The `subfig' package requires the `caption' package by H.A. Sommerfeldt and replaces the older `subfigure' package.
