Person identification using cumulative sum algorithm for iris biometric system is speedy and efficient for any security system application which is used in high sensitive area, like airports, railways, military etc., this paper specifies extraction of quality feature of iris images which is used to perform fast recognition using cumulative sum algorithm for any database ex., CASIA and UBIRISv1, we even do performance evaluation on parameters such as FAR, FRR and acquire improvement by reducing FAR and FRR for even though the image is occluded or covered by eyelid or if the retrieved iris image is noisy, our algorithm works very efficiently for accurate authentication of person as it is important for the security system.
