We presenta perfectreconstructionfirst algorithm withaspecial transformation oftheinput DFT/RDFTfilter bankalgorithm anditsapplication in signal asdiscussed inthis paper. imagefusion incomparison toandinconjunction with theDWT method.In orderto achieveperfect reconstruction, itisnecessary tomodifytheinput 2.DFT/RDFTSUBBANDREPRESENTATION signal slightly withaninvertible transformation only Thesubband representation isachieved withthe whenthenumberofdatapoints isdivisible by4.In discrete Fourier transform (DFT)ortherealdiscrete imagefusionapplication investigated, a SPOT Fourier transform (RDFT), usingsymmetric zero-phase panchromatic imageisfusedwitha corresponding nonoverlapping analysis/synthesis filters. The 1-D SPOTmultispectral imagewiththreebands.
