Non-Data Aided Receiver for Space-Time Block Coded CDMA MIMO Systems

A non-dataaided Multiple-InputMultiple-Output(MIMO) receiver with multiple access interference (MAI) suppression is proposedfor a space-time block coded (STBC) code-divisionmultiple access (CDMA) system under a multipathfading channel. A decision-directedminimum mean-squared error (MMSE) receiver is developed for alleviating performance degradation due to the finite sample effect. Numerical results demonstrate that the proposed blind receiver achieve nearly the same performanceof the optimal MMSE receiver,in which the transmitted data is fully knownbeforehand.
