Atheory relating certain labeled directed graphs and Boolean expressions overpropositional variables isseentohave several interesting applcations incomputer science, mostnotably to programming, compiling, andswitching theory. Theapplications arise fromthecapability ofrealizing anyBoolean expression bya memberoftheclass ofdigraphs here considered, those weshall call atomic.
