In present times, the security of data is becoming very important. The security of the multimedia or digital data can be improved by using encryption technology. There are many different methods or algorithm are available to secure confidential image data from unauthorized access. The data Security is important for secure communication also image integrity plays an important role during transmission of image data. In this paper several methods which are useful for secure transmission of image were discussed. Data is embedded in encrypted image by using different data embedding methods. So that it will be very difficult for intruder to get access to data. To overcome the drawback of above discussed method intra-prediction mode algorithm will be used for improving quality of image
