Itsuki NodalandJun-ichi Meguro · 2006

A design ofdatarepresentation forinformation sharing forrescue activities isproposed. Collecting and sharing disaster information about damaged areaisthemostimportant activity tosupport decision-making inrescue processes. Wehavebeendesigning andimplementing astandard protocol (MISP) andsimple database systems (DaRuMa) forthis purpose. Inorder toutilize these facilities, wearedisigning astandard format ofsensing datataken byrescue robots andtimerepresentation todenote uncertain/ambiguous time-periods, bothofwhich areessential coreoftherescue information sharing. Wealso showtheflexibilities andopen-ness ofproposed frameworks andrepresentation bysample tools andintegrated rescue information systems.
