Efficient systemmodeling caneliminate capacity discrepancy between mid-term capacity planning and anies byconsistently delivering promised capacity. This paper proposes anintegrated modeling framework which consists of capacity constraints andconfigurable constraints forcapacity planning and production scheduling toaddress theissue ofcapacity discrepancy. Thecapacity constraints thatderived frommachine timeline, production rateandmachineallocation preference matrix canresolve theconflicting objectives in capacity planning andproduction scheduling; whereas the configurable constraints thatare designed and implemented forspecial concerns inplanning and scheduling functions willfacilitate thepursuing of optimized production plans andschedules. Thepaper will finally depict an implementation oftheproposed framework inthesemiconductor backend assembly environment.
