The purposeofthisstudyistodevelop an information fusion system fortheapplication ofhuman-machine communication. Theinformation fusion systembundles and controls sensing units distributed inaspace. Onesensing unit consists ofseveral sensors, whosedataaregiven toacomputer and are transformed intosignificant information. This information isfedtoother sensing units, tobefused withother significant information. Alltheinformation areintegrated ina maincomputer torecognize andidentify a particular person. The maincomputerisresponsible formanagingallthe information ina distributed fusion system. Fora largeand complex system, itmayconsist ofseveral communities ofsensors thatarecontrolled byseveral maincomputers tomanagethe different fusions ofthesystems. Thispaperintroduces a methodology onhowtogroupaseveral functions fromdifferent sensors thatsharea sameenvironment forthepurposeof recognizing aparticular person.
