Detecting and Removing Cooperative Black or Gray Hole

This paper gives a brief back ground about Detecting and Removing Cooperative Black or Gray hole attacks in MANETs. Usually, this type of network is more vulnerable to attacks. Due to this there is heavy packet loss. This affects the integrity of the packets in MANETs. To overcome these problems, a new algorithm is been proposed. This algorithm holds two mechanisms. Initially, it detects the attacker nodes. Secondly, it deletes such nodes and routes the packets using different path. By simulation based studies, this algorithm effectively provides security in MANETs.
