BARTLETT AND CAPON AOA ESTIMATION USING AN SHA

This project describes a comparison of two approaches for the estimation of elevation and azimuth values for a plane wave transmission from a source in the far field impinging on an array of antennas. The angle of arrival estimates are performed using a standard hexagonal array with 61 elements. Descriptions with respect to array geometry selection and angle of arrival estimation algorithms are provided, as well as conclusions on the performance the Bartlett and Capon algorithms, respectively.
