In this paper we describe the developaent, testing, and functionality of a computerized model intended to minimize reliance upon live animal testing in preInvestigatory New Drug pharmaceutical research. The model utilizes a mathematical fuzzy set algorithm to identify links between the molecular structure of a new compound and regressively related molecular structures of compounds with known adverse animal reactions.
