Inthis work, wedescribe ourproject fordeveloping aneducational software tobeusedintheimplementation ofa newparadigm ofdigital inclusion. Theproposed software allows people withnoprevious knowledge inrobotics tocontrol and programLEGO prototypes. Itisanewkindofeducational soft- wareforrobotics, mainly pointed toteachbasic computer skills andbasic robotics concepts tochildren atelementary school. Incontrast, projects involving digital inclusion arestrongly pointed totheuseofcomputers andinternet. Robotshavea greater potential tobeaccepted bypeople incomparison with computers thenitcould beaddedindigital inclusion projects ina simple fashion. Thus, software forteaching tocontrol, program andusetheserobots isnecessary. Software forprogramming LEGO robots isnoteasytounderstand anduse. Then, the proposed software represents agoodoption forteaching robotics whenworking withchildren andpeople notfamiliarized with technology. We showexperimental results inwhichdigitally excluded children accept inanatural waytechnologies involving computers androbots byusing theproposed software.
