Suitable simulation of mobile radio propagation environment can provide helpful information for commiunication systems analysis and design. A computer simulation program that can be used to simulate the multipath fading associated with VHF/UNF mobile radio channels is described. This toul pruvides a flexible set of simulated channel Characteristics that can be selected over a wide range. 'I'he application of the simulator on modulation techniques and receivix architecture performance evaluation and design is illustrated.
