Externul disturbances acting on autonmtic controlled systcnis tvpically have adverse or undesirable effects on the nctiovi of the system. As n result, numerous techniques of control have been proposed to reduce these cflects. In this work, the ability of a fuzzy controller to wduce the adverse effects due to step and ramp type dishirbances are iiwestigated. FOI. comparison purposes these results are compured to the common and popular PID controller.
