Thescheme fordesigning virtual instrument of wavelet transform isdescribed. Mathematic modelofwavelet analysis function andtypical controls isfounded andthe algorithm isselected anddesigned. Basedonvirtual instrument technology, thevirtual instrument ofwavelet transform is successfully developed. Theinstrument consists ofcontinuous wavelet transform, discrete wavelet transform, wavelet package decomposition etc,whichprovide theengineering signal analysis anewmanner. Thefactisproved, theinstrument has extensive using value.
