Well suited Modelling and Evaluation Techniques Based on GSPN

This paper deals with the modelling of production systems used in automobile factories which behaviour are complicated by failure occurrence and repair or maintenance actions. The method is based on Generalized Stochastic Petri Nets (GSPN) which arc well-suited for complw system evaluation since development of powerful modelling tools. To duce the state space complexity we propose an equivalent model for the production lines which permit us to address the problem of production management and the enhancement of the production rate by addition of buff=. A software pocluge. that aids to create global models from modules library, was developed.
