On Interference Snppression in DS-CDMA Systems

This paper presents considerations on DS-CDMA interference suppression in the presence of bursty TDMA interference. Throughout the paper we assume that the interference is bursty with power well above the DS-CDMA transmission power. The studied areas cover lnterference rejection combining, an enhanced version of Interference rejection Combining. soft weighting principle in combining and some automatic gain control considerations. These methods are shown to be good enough for practical purposes.
