Extension of a Compilable Cell Library with Functionalities concerning Numerical Processing of Floating Point Data

This paper describes the methodology offered to designersusingtheTHOMSON COMPOSANTS MILITAIRES et SPATIAUX 0.8 micron and 1.2 micron CMOS CSAM librairies and CS AM DESIGN KIT environment system for applications with floating point data processing requirements. This project aims at a complete support for automated implementation of floating point arithmetic unit from elements of CSAh4 ASIC compiled technology independent library based on the CSAM/CDK silicon compiler environment.
