PROJECTION-TV DIGITAL CONVERGENCE SYSTEM

A new custom ASIC has been developed which incorporates quadratic splines to develop smooth waveforms required to achieve quality convergence for projection TV. An on-chip cross hatch generator and a vertical independence feature combined with the less required hardware provide a high performance cost effective digital convergence system.
