The design of micropayment system intended to simplify the payment process at the shop or cafeteria without using cash (cashless). This application provides an opportunity to the consumers to make payments using electronic payment systems with a small value transactions free of charge (micropayment). Micropayment payment system is very suitable to be applied for small value transactions with a high frequency. By utilizing wireless technology is called Near Field Communication (NFC), the payment can be made only with the consumer mobile device close to a reader device or shopkeepers canteen. The design of this system uses 5 (five) phases, eq: literature study, analysis, design and prototyping, and testing and implementation, the latter is preparing reports and scientific publications. Literature study phase will be collected several references from books and journals that were the result of previous research. Continued analysis phase involves collecting samples and studying the data using the current system running. Stage design and prototyping approaches Unified Modeling Language (UML). And continued with the testing and implementation phase was to test the prototype that has been designed. Results or output in the form of a payment system with application design is e- canteen. With this application, the consumers can pay a sum of money of their groceries with a debit to the consumer owned funds, which are stored on a prepaid card.
