We try to present the performance of oorphological operators on medical images in this report. It is shown that morphological operators can significantly reduce noise, and offer greater flexibility than median filtering. Morphological base edge detection is also shown to be better than linear operators. The results illustrate the power of morphological operators for medical processing in terms of noise reduction, and edge detection.
