In order for service providers to be able to proactively keep up with the rapidly changing and converging telecommunications environment, there is a need to be able to design and develop services so that they may be deployed and adapted dynamically. This paper presents a general methodology for model-driven, policy-enabled dynamic composition of services. The methodology addresses the problem of how to model dynamic composition of services, and uses a three layered approach to service specification, design and deployment in order to realize dynamic service execution in the runtime system. The method is explained through its use in a tele-consultation case. 1
